These terms govern your use of the vppa.io website and of the software VPPA provides, including VPPA Highlights Uploader and the workflows, prompts and scripts we distribute with it (together, "the Software"). By using the site or the Software you agree to these terms.

The website
The site describes our services and lets you apply to work with us. Applying does not create a contract; engagements are agreed separately in writing. Content on the site is ours or used with permission and may not be copied for commercial use without consent.
The Software
What it does
The Software helps you turn long-form video into highlight clips and publish them to a YouTube channel you own or manage. Parts of it connect to your Google account through YouTube API Services, subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
Your responsibilities
- You may connect the Software only to channels you own or are authorized to manage.
- You are responsible for the videos you publish, including having the rights to the source footage, music and any third-party material, and for complying with YouTube's policies.
- Keep your credentials safe. OAuth tokens are stored on your computer; anyone with access to that file can act on your channel.
- Do not use the Software to spam, to upload content you do not have rights to, or to circumvent any platform's rules or rate limits.
License
If you purchased the Software as part of a "do it yourself" or "done with you" package, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for your own channels and your clients' channels. You may modify it for your own use. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute it, or present it as your own product, without written permission. Software provided to agency clients as part of a done-for-you engagement remains ours and is operated by us.
Third-party services
The Software depends on services we do not control: Google and YouTube, Notion, and open-source tools such as ffmpeg, yt-dlp and Whisper. Their availability, terms and quotas can change, and features can stop working as a result. Uploads through the YouTube API in particular are subject to Google's quotas and compliance review.
No warranty
The site and the Software are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee any level of views, subscribers or revenue from content produced with the Software.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VPPA is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue or channel standing, arising from use of the site or the Software. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Software or service in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the Software at any time and revoke its access to your Google account from your Google account permissions page. We may suspend access to the site or the Software if these terms are violated.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VPPA is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction unless applicable consumer law gives you other rights.
