This policy explains what information VPPA ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers the website at vppa.io and the software we operate under the name VPPA Highlights Uploader, including test builds published under other names such as "Dummy Highlights".
Who we are
VPPA is a content agency run by Vitor Angonese. We produce highlight clips and short-form content for creators and businesses. Contact: vitor@vppa.io.
Information we collect on the website
- Application form. When you apply to work with us, we collect the answers you give: name, email, phone, company or channel, revenue range, content details and scheduling preferences. The form is delivered to our CRM (Notion) through Zapier and emailed to us. We use it only to evaluate and follow up on your application.
- Booking. If you book a call, Calendly collects the details needed for the meeting under its own privacy policy.
- Preferences stored in your browser. The site remembers your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage. Nothing about it is sent to us.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and operations.
We do not run advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
VPPA Highlights Uploader and your Google account
VPPA Highlights Uploader is software that publishes finished highlight videos to a YouTube channel that the operator owns or manages. It uses YouTube API Services and Google OAuth. This section is the disclosure Google requires for that access.
What Google user data the app accesses
- Your channel identity (channel name, handle and ID), to confirm which channel the app is connected to.
- Permission to upload videos to that channel and to set each video's title, description, tags, category, language, privacy status and scheduled publish time.
- Permission to read the channel's video list and to add uploaded videos to a playlist.
The app requests the youtube.upload and youtube OAuth scopes for these purposes and nothing else.
How we use it
Only to perform the actions the operator explicitly starts: uploading a chosen video file with metadata the operator has reviewed, and reporting the resulting video link back to the operator. The app does not read comments, analytics, subscriber lists or private data from other channels, and it does not act on a channel without the operator running a command.
Where the data lives
The OAuth access and refresh tokens Google issues are stored only on the operator's own computer, in a file readable by that user account alone. VPPA does not transmit tokens or any YouTube data to VPPA servers, and we keep no central database of Google user data. The only records the app keeps are local: the video IDs and titles it uploaded, so it does not upload the same file twice.
Sharing
We do not share, sell, rent or transfer Google user data to anyone. We do not use it for advertising, for training machine-learning models, or for any purpose other than the uploads described above. Where VPPA operates the app on behalf of a client, the data is used solely to publish that client's videos to that client's channel.
Retention and deletion
Tokens remain on the operator's computer until the operator deletes the token file or revokes access. You can revoke the app's access to your Google account at any time from your Google account permissions page. Revoking access takes effect immediately; the app cannot act on your channel afterwards. To ask us to delete any local record we hold about your channel, email vitor@vppa.io.
Limited Use disclosure
VPPA's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
YouTube API Services
Because the app uses YouTube API Services, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Third parties we rely on
Google and YouTube (authentication, video hosting), Notion (CRM), Zapier (form delivery), Calendly (booking), Hostinger (web hosting). Each processes data under its own terms. We do not give these providers access to your Google user data beyond what YouTube itself receives when a video is uploaded.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adult creators. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how the app uses Google user data will be reflected here before they take effect.
